Dear Isis

ISIS is an Egyptian goddess worshipped as the ideal mother and wife as well as the patroness of nature and magic. She ia also known as a friend of slaves, sinners, artisans and the downtrodden.
I did not set out to paint the goddess...but at some point in the creative process, I realized who I was painting. Thus, this is my version of Isis.
